Pamela M. Macktaz

Ms. Macktaz received her Law Degree in 1966. She retired from the Rhode Island Family Court in 2007. She brings over 40 years of experience in the R.I. Family Court system to this Mediation Practice, as well as seventy (70) hours of training in both general and divorce mediation. Through the course of her esteemed career she worked diligently to assist and process problems and situations involving children and families and to "make meaningful changes in the lives of families".

Jean A. George

For over 30 years Jean has been working with families and children in Rhode Island helping to advise, guide, and direct the efforts of parents and the Rhode Island judicial, child welfare and social systems. She has served as a Social Worker, School Community Chair, Court Liaison, Family Court Intake Supervisor and the Deputy Director of the CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) Office for the Rhode Island Family Court. She is dedicated to seeing successful solutions for parents and children in distressed situations through mediation, effective communication, and parent coordination.

Most recently Jean has worked as a Visitation Supervisor and Parent Coordinator. As a Visitation Supervisor she supervises visits with parents who are under court order to be supervised during visitation. She has successfully worked with parents and children to reestablish, improve, and strengthen their relationships and bonds in a normal community setting. As a court appointed Parent Coordinator she skillfully establishes appropriate methods of communication, cooperation in decision making, and civility in matters dealing with the children of parent’s whose level of hostility necessitates intervention.
