WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT?
Mediation is a process of resolving disputes. It is a conflict resolution process guided by our team of neutral professional and advanced mediators.
Only one brief court appearance is required when the process is complete, as contrasted with multiple court appearances for a litigated divorce.
At Macktaz & George Mediation you will meet with both mediators to work out the issues regarding your divorce. Mediation can also be useful to resolve conflict after the divorce or to settle disputes between unmarried people.
Although Attorneys are not regularly present in the mediation session, each person is free to have an attorney present and/ o consult with an attorney before or after each session.

We have over seventy years of combined experience with parents, children and Family Court. As mediators we focus on how people want things in the future ( what they can influence) rather than on the past ( what they cannot change).
As mediators we help couples explore possible options and assist them to reach a fair and lasting agreement that benefits them and their children. Cooperative problem solving is our goal.
